Fire Rated Performance

Benex walls, even when not core-filled, achieve a 240/240/180 FRL. Benex products have been extensively tested and certified the CSIRO. The FRL or Fire Rating Level achieved means that the Benex wall structural integrity was maintained for 240min under the AS1530 and maintained its insulation for over 180min. When a sheet of 10mm plasterboard is added then maximum FRL 240/240/240 standard can be achieved.

This makes Benex one of the most cost competitive fire wall solutions on the market ideal for commercial and multiple tenancy buildings, fire stairs and lift shafts that all require FRL rated walls.
